The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the bank’s core management reporting, budgeting, cost control, and financial planning processes. The primary objective is to deliver data-driven financial insights that support informed and strategic decision-making across the institution.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
As the Management Accounting Finance Manager, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Directing and coordinating the bank’s annual budgeting cycles and periodic financial forecasting processes.
- Generating comprehensive monthly management accounts alongside detailed variance analysis reports.
- Tracking cost performance across departments and proposing actionable efficiency enhancement measures.
- Driving financial modeling frameworks and supporting corporate strategic initiatives.
- Guaranteeing absolute data integrity, accuracy, and compliance in all internal financial reports.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
To be considered for this critical finance position, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Educational Background: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance, or a closely related academic discipline.
- Professional Certifications: Active professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or a globally recognized equivalent) is mandatory.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 6 to 8 years of practical experience in management accounting or financial analysis. Prior experience working within a banking or financial services environment is highly preferred.
- Key Skills: Outstanding analytical capabilities, robust financial reporting expertise, and excellent presentation skills.
