Diamond Trust Bank (DTB), a leading regional financial institution, is currently looking to recruit a high-caliber professional to fill the newly announced Identity Access Management Officer Job Vacancy within its Dar es Salaam corporate office. Reporting directly to the Security Operations Center Manager, the successful candidate will bear the vital responsibility of managing employee system roles and permissions, ensuring that strict ‘Least Privileges’ policies are maintained across all core applications.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- User Identity Lifecycle Management: Manage and maintain user roles, rights, and system permissions seamlessly from the onboarding stage through to offboarding on a regular daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Application User Documentation: Assist in the thorough preparation of exhaustive user listings for various corporate applications and communicate the exact data to branches to facilitate accurate accreditation.
- Accreditation and Compliance Audits: Perform consistent follow-ups on user accreditations undertaken by departmental or branch heads and deliver concise structural reports to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team lead.
- Segregation of Duties (SOD): Actively assist in creating and implementing robust Segregation of Duties User Permission Matrixes to prevent conflict of interest or security loopholes.
- Privileged Access Administration: Offer operational support and execute key administrative activities pertaining to modern Privileged Access Management (PAM) protocols.
- Process Engineering: Engage with the wide User Rights Management Group (URMG) to continually review, upgrade, and adopt advanced procedures that maximize overall IAM activities.
- Project Integration: Serve as a dedicated cybersecurity team member in the commercial bank’s structural IAM projects, attending departmental review meetings to evaluate active operations.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of solid, hands-on working experience strictly within IAM frameworks, Applications Support, or system access control roles.
- Domain Familiarity: Strong familiarity with standard service delivery cultures, banking application structures, and general tech support functions.
- Personal Attributes: A highly structured approach to managing complex, fluctuating work environments, combined with an outstanding ability to balance opposing long-term and short-term business requirements independently.
