2. Crop Transportation Services

- Scope of Work: Bulk transit and transportation of agricultural produce across various operational districts including Kiteto District (Manyara Region), Monduli District, Arusha DC, Meru DC, and Arusha City.
Mandatory Eligibility Requirements & Applicant Qualifications
To participate in the Arusha Co-operative Union Tenders evaluation phase, interested parties must supply authentic documentation proving their operational legality and capacity. Ensure your bidding package contains:
- Valid Business License and current registration status.
- Company/Group Registration Certificate from official government registry departments (e.g., BRELA).
- Tax Clearance Certificate from the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
- Proof of Experience: A detailed list showcasing recently executed contracts, complete with the full corporate names and addresses of previous corporate buyers for background verification.
- Financial Capability: The applicant must maintain an active corporate bank account capable of clearing or facilitating transactions via cheque payments.
- Regulatory Clearance: A formal, legal permit issued by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies authorizing operations within co-operative networks.
- Legal Frameworks: A legally certified affidavit alongside a duly signed Integrity Form (contained within the official Tender Book).
- Tender Bond Declaration plus any other supplementary documents stipulated in the procurement instructions.
How to Apply and Access Tender Documents
Bidders can review and purchase the full Tender Books directly from the main administrative block.
- Tender Fee: A non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) 1,000,000 /= is required per specific tender.
- Payment Details: All registration fees must be deposited directly into the official bank account:

Instructions on Bid Submission:
All final proposals must be prepared in duplicate (comprising one clearly marked Original copy and one Duplicate copy). The documents must be packed securely in a sealed envelope that highlights the corresponding Bid Reference Number on the top cover. To protect anonymity during evaluation, do not write your company name or individual identity details on the outer part of the envelope.
- Submission Method: Must be delivered in person directly to the ACU offices in Arusha. Electronic submissions via email or internet links will not be accepted.
- Application Deadline: All entries must land by 24 June, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. (Exactly 14 days from its publication on June 10, 2026).
- Important Note: Late entries will face automatic disqualification regardless of the mitigating circumstances behind the delay. Opening of the submitted envelopes will commence publicly on the very same closing date.
